"Muslim Immigrant Parents Negotiating with Schools: Implications for Children"
The three-year longitudinal study will identify the degree to which 1) family characteristics and parental practices, 2) school characteristics and teacher perspectives, and 3) the nature of teacher-parent interactions, predict changes in psychological well-being and academic achievement for Muslim children from First to Third grade.
