Dr. Sharon Ritchie of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill presented, “FirstSchool: Improving the PreK-3rd Grade School Experience of African-American, Latino, and Low-Income Children” at the Annual PreK-3rd Leadership Conference hosted by the Advocates for Children of New Jersey. Dr. Ritchie urged developing strong PreK-3rd continuums by focusing on data from PreK-3rd Grade FirstSchool classrooms and from the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS).
