Vivian Tseng
President and CEO
Vivian is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Child Development, a private foundation that works at the nexus of research, policy, and practice to advance equity and justice for young children and their families. Prior to joining the Foundation, Dr. Tseng served as senior vice president, programs, at the William T. Grant Foundation where she pioneered initiatives to advance evidence-informed policy and practice.
Sherice Brammer
Communications Officer
Sherice brings extensive expertise as the Communications Officer, spearheading the implementation of the Foundation’s comprehensive communications strategy. In her role, she oversees a myriad of internal and external communications, including social media management, website administration, and cultivating strategic partnerships with grantees and partners to amplify the Foundation’s impact.
Olivia Golden
Senior Policy Advisor
Olivia supports the Foundation in its development of a strategy and program of activities to advance social justice for young children, with a core commitment to children marginalized by racism, xenophobia, and economic inequality.
JoAnn Hsueh
Vice President of Program and Communications
JoAnn Hsueh serves as the Vice President of Program and Communications at the Foundation, leveraging over two decades of expertise in researching education and social policies. In her role, JoAnn’s responsibilities include working as a strategic partner with the President to support the Foundation’s vision, goals, and priorities, providing leadership for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Foundation’s grantmaking, and communications activities.
Dorothy Pflager
Executive Assistant
Dorothy has been with the Foundation since January 2013. In the role of Executive Assistant, she supports the President and CEO with all administrative and clerical duties. She also coordinates and provides logistical support to the Board of Directors and several Board Committees.
Chris Tebben
Strategy and Organizational Development Advisor
Chris is a strategist and advisor to foundations and non-profit organizations working in the fields of education and child development. Chris leads Sapient Solutions, LLC, a consultancy specializing in strategy and organizational development. Her work is informed by three decades of experience with education and human services policies, systems and programs across the birth to postsecondary continuum.
